A reading and conversation about finding the right book for the right reader with the Roccos.

Hayley and John Rocco will read their latest book in the Piper Waterstone series, A Book For Everyone, followed by an inside look at the making of the book, the inspiration behind it, and the classic books that appear in the story. Susannah Richards will moderate.

Who You'll Meet

Hayley & John Rocco

Hayley Rocco is the author of many books for children, including All the Books and How to Send a Hug. She serves as an ambassador to Wild Tomorrow in South Africa and Defenders of Wildlife on Capitol Hill. Hayley lives in an old yellow house in the creaky woods of Rhode Island with her husband and collaborator, John Rocco.

John Rocco is a #1 New York Times bestselling author and illustrator of many acclaimed books for children, including Blackout, recipient of the Caldecott Honor, and How We Got to the Moon, recipient of the Sibert Award Honor and a National Book Award for Young People’s Literature Longlist Selection.
