Girl Scout Art & Design Badge Day: Daisies, Brownies, and Juniors
$15 for Adults, $10 for Youths (1-18)
Calling Daisies, Brownies and Juniors! The Carle is opening early just for Girl Scouts!
Would you like to try the art medium Eric Carle used to create The Very Hungry Caterpillar? What happens when you blend colors and shapes on paper to design a new creature? How do illustrators design their art to show action and feelings? Museum staff will guide participants to discover, create, and then share your art in a special exhibition while you earn the Art & Design Badge. Families are invited to enjoy the exhibitions at pick-up before girls take their artwork home.
Program fee includes Museum admission and a 10% discount to use in the Carle Bookshop after the program. Scouts will earn the badge; troops are responsible for obtaining the badge.
