Join us for a day celebrating the Mid-Autumn Moon Festival! In addition to performances and activities with community partners, Chinese Association of Western Massachusetts and Pioneer Valley Chinese Immersion Charter School, guests will enjoy a special storytime with Grace Lin reading A Big Mooncake for Little Star.

11:00 am - 11:30 am	Special Storytime: Grace Lin (drawing activity and book signing to follow)
2:00 pm - 2:30 pm	Chinese Waist Drum and fashion show presentation by the Chinese Association of Western Massachusetts
Ongoing throughout the day	Stations featuring mooncake making, language games, and paper bunny art activity with the Pioneer Valley Chinese Immersion Charter School, mooncake sampling (while supplies last), films

Who You'll Meet

Grace Lin

Grace Lin is an award-winning and NY Times bestselling author/illustrator of picture books, early readers and middle grade novels, including her Newbery Honor Where the Mountain Meets the Moon, her Geisel Honor Ling & Ting, her National Book Finalist When the Sea Turned to Silver, and her Caldecott Honor A Big Mooncake for Little Star. In 2022, Grace was awarded the Children’s Literature Legacy Award from the American Library Association.
