Theme: “I Have Nowhere to Wear” Live Karaoke Party and Runway with UMass Fashion Organization.
As part of The Carle After Dark series, strike a pose with the UMass Fashion Organization and step into the spotlight wearing your “I Have Nowhere to Wear” outfit, an evening of photo ops, playful snapshots, and unforgettable karaoke moments with Josh Sitron. Inspired by iconic photography and picture books featured in CLICK! Photographers Make Picture Book Art, we invite guests to dress up, walk the runway with students from the UMass Fashion Organization, pose in front of life size blown-up works of Nina Crews, Walter Wegman, and Walter Wick, experiment with style, and capture the joy of self-expression. With runway-inspired flair, interactive photo experiences, and karaoke music-filled fun and dance, the Museum transforms into a place where fashion, music, photography, and picture book art collide.
