What happens when no one knows where the story is going next?
Inspired by Weaving Words as part of The Carle After Dark series, Spinning Stories celebrates the unpredictable ways stories grow when we create them together.
Throughout the Museum, families can experiment with storytelling activities. Each experience offers a different way to play with words, images, and imagination while exploring how stories change as they move from one storyteller to the next.
In the Art Studio, artists of all ages can continue the experiment through artmaking that transforms a prompt or story fragment into something entirely their own.
Author Amanda Davis will host Storytimes at 4:30 pm, 5:30 pm, and 6:30 pm.
Enjoy live music and light refreshments to fuel your creative adventure.
Come ready with an idea, but don’t get too attached to it. At Spinning Stories, every turn can change the tale.
