Out and About: The Many Worlds of Eric Carle
This exhibition brings together original art from the first picture book Eric Carle wrote, 1, 2, 3 to the Zoo (1968), to his “Slowly, Slowly, Slowly,” said the Sloth (2002), written during the construction of the Museum. Additional work from Have You Seen My Cat? (1973), Watch Out! A Giant! (1978), and From Head to Toe (1987) offer teaching opportunities to learn numbers, parts of the body, animals, and how to look carefully at a work of art.
This exhibition was made possible through the generous support of Carter’s.
