Wedding Rentals

Host your wedding at The Carle, with a reception in the light-filled Great Hall and a ceremony in our courtyard. 

• The Carle is able to accommodate up to 150 guests for a seated wedding reception. For standing receptions, the Museum can comfortably fit up to 300 guests.
• Spaces available include an expansive Great Hall, a courtyard, and a Café, an Auditorium that seats 135, and three galleries featuring some of the world’s finest picture book art.
• All weddings are considered 6-hour full museum rentals and must take place outside of regular Museum hours. 

Other Rental Options

The Carle’s contemporary, light-filled rental spaces can be adapted to suit a variety of needs. 

• The Café and Auditorium are available for business meetings and other gatherings.
• These spaces can be available during or after museum hours depending on the event.  

• Café Rentals can accommodate up to 60 and Auditorium Rentals can accommodate around 135.
