Indigenous Community Forum

The Carle is developing an exhibition celebrating and centering North American Indigenous picture book artists and their contributions to children’s literature (with support from a Museums for America grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services).

The Carle welcomes members of the Indigenous community to learn more about the exhibition from guest curator, Dr. Lee Francis IV, Ph.D. (Pueblo of Laguna) aka Dr. IndigiNerd, Founder of the Indigenous Imagination Workshop, Indigenous Comic Con, Native Realities, and Red Planet Books and Comics.
