Join author/illustrator Kari Percival and the Hitchcock Center for the Environment’s Education Director Katie Koerten to learn how to help local frogs, toads and salamanders. Kari will share her new picture book, Safe Crossing, about a family of volunteers who help amphibians cross the street in spring.

Ezra Jack Keats Award winner Kari Percival writes and illustrates books for children to encourage curiosity, love, and stewardship of Earth, our home. She lives near the Middlesex Fells, where she loves to look for salamander eggs in vernal pools in the spring.
