The Birth of a Book invites readers into the fertile imagination of Australian artist Robert Ingpen. The exhibition features Ingpen’s haunting gouache paintings from Halloween Circus (2002), a book that celebrates the costumed holiday in rhyme. Ingpen generously donated all art from the book, representing the first gift to the Museum of preliminary and published art for a complete book.
