The Carle is pleased to present the second exhibition of work from Petra Mathers’s Lottie series, The New York Times award-winning Lottie’s New Friend. On view are final art, preliminary sketches, and book dummies that reveal how the story took shape. See how Lottie’s dear friend Herbie, the equally delightful duck, copes when an exotic new neighbor befriends his best friend.
