Join us as we celebrate the Moomins! The Moomins are the beloved fairytale creatures in a series of Moomin books and a Moomintroll comic strip by Finnish author and illustrator Tove Jansson (1914-2001).

Minna Honkasolo,  a researcher and producer at the Moomin Museum in Finland, and a current Fulbright Scholar at The Carle, will read a story, talk about how and why Jansson created the Moomintroll character, and discuss the universal values of the Moomins.
