This book is a lyrical look at how the moon is a guardian for us all—after all, each squirrel and owl, all the trees and tiny flowers, even your mama and daddy, were babies once. And the moon remembers. Perfect for new babies (and new parents of those babies), graduates, or anyone looking for comfort during life’s many milestones, this ode to the constancy of the moon is a perfect pick for readers of all ages. Following storytime, E. B. will brainstorm with guests to create a live drawing of the many kinds of babies in our world.

E.B. Goodale

E. B. Goodale is the author/illustrator of The Moon Remembers, Under the Lilacs, and Also, which is a Junior Library Guild Gold Standard and an ALSC Notable Book. She has illustrated a number of other picture books including Windows and Here and Now, both by Julia Denos, and The Bees of Notre Dame by Meghan P. Browne.
