Programs through 2021 will be offered as virtual workshops.
These live programs generally last 30 to 45 minutes and includes pre/post program materials. The fee is $130/class. Programs can be adapted for any age group and are ideal for up to 25 participants. A link to the program registration form is available at the bottom of the page.
Explore, Imagine, Play

Join Carle educators for this fun, interactive program encouraging creativity, gross motor skills, and language development! Educators will lead an interactive storytime in which participants engage in storytelling through imaginative play, creative movement, singing, and exploration of materials. Registration includes pre- and post-program materials with links to online videos, activities, and at-home art projects.
I See a Story: All About Eric Carle
Grades: PreK – Grade 3
Duration: 40 minutes
Join us for this interactive live program in which you will hear from a Carle educator about the museum and go behind the scenes to discover how Eric Carle transforms ideas, words, and pictures to create the books we love! Inspired by Picture Books: Collage

Duration: 45 minutes
Explore collage in this hands-on virtual workshop with Carle Art Educators! Looking at picture book illustrations, including the art of Eric Carle, this workshop will explore how paper can be used to tell stories. Educator-led activities will encourage students to explore the potential of paper by tearing, cutting, arranging, and attaching paper together. This workshop provides a starting point for further collage explorations and will include pre- and post-workshop resources.

Celebrate drawing in this hands-on virtual workshop! Picture books provide the inspiration as we explore how drawings can share feelings, generate a sense of movement, and create settings for stories. Carle Art Educators will facilitate a series of drawing games designed to spark the creative process and encourage students’ own storytelling. This workshop provides a starting point for further drawing explorations and will include pre- and post-workshop resources.
